Maritime aerial cinematography

Yes. We regularly operate in controlled and restricted airspace including commercial ports, naval bases, and military exercises. We hold the necessary CASA approvals and have established protocols with harbour masters and defence liaisons.

We deploy DJI Inspire 3 and Mavic 3 Pro systems for aerial work, supplemented by RED Komodo and Sony FX6 for ground-level and shipboard footage. All equipment is salt-rated and we carry backup systems for every offshore deployment.

Maritime operations depend on weather windows. We build flexibility into every project timeline and carry weather insurance for multi-day deployments. Our pilots hold maritime safety certificates and are comfortable operating from vessel decks in open ocean conditions.

A full commissioning film (Cinematic Signature tier) typically requires 2-3 days of filming across dry dock, sea trials, and delivery. Post-production takes 4-6 weeks including colour grading, sound design, scoring, and client review cycles.
